Join Michelle Black Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and Master Gardener Volunteer as she shows you how to make a beautiful and functional edible garden in whatever space you have available to you. Specific information on selecting a site, ideas for growing methods, preparing your soil, what / when to plant and tips for garden care will be included in the class. Beginner and advanced gardeners are welcome

    Michelle Black is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and owner of WellRooted Nutrition, LLC. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Dietetics from Mount Mary College in 2010 and has also completed the training as a Master Gardener through the University of Wisconsin Extension. Michelle currently works in the field of corporate wellness and provides healthy cooking and nutrition classes for clients throughout South Eastern Wisconsin. Her approach is integrative, and she is currently completing a certificate of training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. She believes in the power of a whole foods, plant plentiful diet. In her spare time she enjoys working in her organic vegetable garden, cooking healthy meals for her family and enjoying all of the outdoor activities Wisconsin has to offer.

    Heather Ferber will be on site to offer PEMF Therapy make-up sessions from the Winter Health Fair.  If you were not able to attend or missed her that day, you can receive a free 10 minute private session with her tonight.  

    Heather will be scheduling customers on a First Come First Serve basis and will have a sign in sheet available so you can shop or eat while you wait. 

    Sessions will be held in the upstairs mezzanine area of the cafe.

    Renowned Early Childhood Educator from Prairie Hill Waldorf School brings an hour of fun for children and parents alike. 

    Each 1 hour long event includes: Finger Plays, Songs, a Puppet Play or Story, and a Craft  based on the theme.
