    Holistic Moms Lake Country invites you to a Healthy Baked Goods Swap!

    Bring the recipes and 1 or more baked items  that are easy to share with the group (cookies,muffins, etc)  Everyone goes home with new healthy delicacies to try!  Please Label each item with any known allergens (wheat, gluten, dairy, nuts, etc)
    Bring your own Tupperware so you can bring yummy treats home!

    We will play a few holiday games and spend time socializing with each other!  This is a great event to bring a friend.  

    The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit organization providing support, community, and resources for all aspects of holistic living - from nutrition and alternative health, to gentle parenting and eco-conscious living and much more!  Because we understand that everyone has their own interests and passions, and may be at a different place in their holistic journey, we offer a non-judgmental community. Our meeting will focus on getting to know each other better and setting the ground work for our new chapter.

    Start your holiday shopping and come visit Friendship Bridge! They will be here offering many handmade and unique items for sale in our Cafe dining room.

    Friendship Bridge is a nonprofit organization that empowers impoverished Guatemalan women to create a better future for themselves, their children and their communities through microfinance and education. Friendship Bridge works primarily with indigenous populations in rural areas where the rate of poverty in Guatemala is the highest. While illiteracy and poverty rates are staggering in these regions, the women are determined to create a change.

    Poetry Reading to benefit the Waukesha Food Pantry

    The Bards Against Hunger, Wisconsin Edition,  an anthology of poetry addressing the issues of poverty and hunger

    Poets will read their poetry from the book.

    The public is invited to bring one of their favorite poems on this theme to read at the event.

    Suggested donation: $5.00 or two non-perishable food items.

    Books will also be for sale.
