  • Spring Concert Series - Bill Armstrong

    Host: Hop Harvest & Vine
    Fee: Free

I am a singer-songwriter based out of Elm Grove, WI and Durango, CO. I perform as a solo artist and in a Blues Duo, called Blue Waters. My blues duo partner is "Blue Rick Gerek," one of the finest blues harp players around. We perform old time blues (think Terry/McGhee, Josh White, etc.), as well as country blues and jazz standards (Georgia on my Mind, Summertime, Don't Get Around Much Anymore) and traditional American tunes (Wayfaring Stranger, St. James Infirmary). Though we normally perform as a guitar/vocal/harp duo, we can add bass and drums for venues wanting more of a full band sound. When playing solo, I do some of the same songs, but throw in more originals (fingerstyle guitar with vocals), and concentrate on less blues and more Americana, So it is an eclectic mix, as my philosophy is that great melodies and lyrics stand up well to different interpretations and are always listenable. As a solo artist, I can play coffee shops, small taverns, house concerts...AND my schedule allows daytime gigs, which can take me to elder care facilities and physical rehab facilities. You can find my music on CD Baby, iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and more. I hope you like what you hear, and would love to play for you sometime. Heck, I can play a little Dobro, Mando, and Bass, too, so maybe I can sit in with YOUR group sometime!

  • Spring Concert Series - Charlie Painter Duo - 6-8PM

Charlie Painter is a self-studied, self- producing, Madison-based guitarist, band leader and teacher since 2008. With 15 years of weekly/monthly residencies under his belt, Painter's multi conceptual approach is informed by years of performance, transcribing records by ear, and a recent mentorship under NYC Jazz guitarist Jordan Klemons since 2020. * 2022 Jazz At Five Performer * 2023 MAMA winner (Best Jazz Album - guitar on all tracks)

  • Organic Rhythm Jam (Drum Cirlcle)

Host: Tom Gill with Rhythm for Unity at Hop Harvest & Vine
    Fee: FREE

Tom Gill from Rhythm For Unity will be hosting an organic rhythm jam from 6:00 – 8:00pm with hand drums, percussion instruments and likely a few surprises! Feel free to bring your own instrument (store bought or home-made) or use some of the extras that will be on hand. No experience required! Good Harvest owner Joe Nolan reached out to invite local drummers to share organic rhythms in this incredible space. The food (natural), beverages (alcoholic and non-) and ambience are amazing! Note this is not a drum class, nor over-facilitated session, rather a spontaneous community drum jam that will be different every time depending on who shows up and the spirit of the group.

  • Spring Concert Series - Ryan Meisel's Spiritual Currents, 6-8pm

Ryan Meisel's Spiritual Currents blends Indigenous world music with Ryan's background in jazz. It honors his spiritual connection to nature and is a gateway of creative expression. Ryan performs original compositions featuring Native American flutes, saxophones, and Indigenous woodwinds (East Indian Bansuri, Lithuanian Skuduciai & Birbyne, Irish flutes & whistles, Slovakian Fujara, and Andean Pan Pipes). He plays along to recorded accompaniments of world percussion, ukuleles, guitars and electronics.
