  • Your Body as Beloved Partner

    Host: Kathy Ginn
    Fee: $5 Donation

We spend our lives in our bodies; however we often leave our body behind. Every experience occurs first in the body – then our mind interprets, judges, and adds a story to what occurred. When we lose connection with our body, we lose connection with our deeper self. This introductory class begins with an over-view of how we become disembodied, the development of body armor, and the ways in which our body speaks to us. Kathy continues to gently guide each participant into the skills of body-centered mindfulness & inquiry. You will learn to foster a listening presence along with deepening your relationship with your body - Yes, your body can truly become your beloved partner. This class is the first in a series which invites each participant into body-centered mindfulness as a pathway for developing deep communion with our natural source of wisdom – the body!
