Summer Concert Series - Smith & Binder Jazz - 6-8pm
Fee: FreeSmith & Binder Jazz offers an eclectic and tasteful selection of jazz and pop standards and gypsy jazz tunes. Steve (vocals, guitar) and Linda (violin and mandolin) create a vintage, yet updated and accessible blend of music that will get your toes tapping! Steve Smith is a Milwaukee singer/songwriter who has performed a variety of musical styles ranging from folk/rock, to choral music, to jazz and pop standards. As a guitarist, Steve has lately been working on perfecting his technique as a swing rhythm guitarist to accompany his vocals. He is particularly interested in learning and performing the music of Django Reinhardt. Freddie Green is another great influence. Linda Binder performs actively in Milwaukee and Chicago on both violin and mandolin. After working as a violinist with the Omaha Symphony, and continuing to pursue orchestral and chamber music work and study in NYC, she took a left turn into the world of improvisation. These days she's enjoying playing jazz, free improvisation, and other contemporary styles as well as indulging her interest in Brazilian Choro music.

Summer Concert Series - Aaron Lee Kaplan - 6-8pm
Fee: FreeAaron Lee Kaplan, a guitarist and singer/songwriter hailing from Marshfield, WI, defines his music as Twisted Blues & Eclectic Americana. With over two decades of performance experience across various genres, Kaplan has garnered recognition in the Midwest for his slide and fingerstyle guitar techniques, coupled with his witty original compositions. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, he crafts a progressive style rooted in American Roots music, often experimenting with blues and folk conventions. Kaplan's lyrics delve into profound themes like mortality, identity, and mental health, employing dark humor and abstract imagery to convey personal reflections. Notable releases include his EP "Some Sunny Day" in September 2017 and his albums "Dairyland" in March 2020 and "Smiley’s Blues" in December 2022, all well-received with regional radio airplay. Organic Rhythm Jam (Drum Circle) - Pavilion - 6-8pm
Host: Tom Gill w Rhythm for Unity @ Hop Harvest & Vine
Fee: FREETom Gill from Rhythm For Unity will be hosting an organic rhythm jam from 6:00 – 8:00pm with hand drums, percussion instruments and likely a few surprises! Feel free to bring your own instrument (store bought or home-made) or use some of the extras that will be on hand. No experience required! Good Harvest co-owner Joe Nolan reached out to invite local drummers to share organic rhythms in this incredible space. The food (natural), beverages (alcoholic and non-) and ambience are amazing! Note this is not a drum class, nor over-facilitated session, rather a spontaneous community drum jam that will be different every time depending on who shows up and the spirit of the group.

Summer Concert Series - Hanna Simone and Elly Bird - 6-8pm
Fee: FreeHanna Simone and Elly Bird are a vocal/Guitar duo, as well as writer/producer duo in the Milwaukee area. Hanna and Elly recently collaborated on Simone's 2022 LP "Spaceship" and have since gone on to perform multiple duo shows throughout the the Midwest. From Summerfest and American Family Field to more intimate shows at Nashville's Commodore and Cafe Coco, the combination of Elly's dynamic rhythm guitar and Hanna's vulnerable lyricism with a soulful voice create a space of tranquility.

Summer Concert Series - Jeanne Marie Farinelli Jazz Duo - 6-8pm
Fee: FreeJeanne Marie Farinelli is a saxophonist and educator in the Milwaukee area. Inspired by the classic jazz tradition, her influences include Sonny Rollins and Dexter Gordon. In her music, Jeanne Marie uses modern sounds combined with traditional feels to create a unique and soulful approach to improvised music. She will be joined by Milwaukee based jazz guitarist, Sam Catral. Join us for a night of jazz music at Hop Harvest!
