Produce: Great values on summer fruit and incredibly fresh local produce.
Excessive heat out West and rains in the Southeast have made product availability scattered and intermittent. Quality has also been compromised. Items affected in particular, Watermelon, Jalapeno Peppers, Bok Choy, Raspberries, Honeydew, Cilantro, Avocados, Cali Grapes and Cali Peppers. Summer fruit is in full swing, with Peaches, Nectarines, Plums, Pluots, Apricots, and Cherries all available at falling retails. Most apples are finished as they are not a 'year around available' item. Some Cape or Australian will be available, but the varieties will be limited. Local product continues to come in as we now have Spinach, Broccoli, Green and Red Leaf Lettuces, Cilantro, Japanese Turnips, and Arugula.

This July, we are happy to promote Fireworks popcorn as our local vendor of the month! Fireworks produces a wide variety of unique popcorn. We're also continuing Shop Local Fridays, so look for Friday discounts on some of your favorites, as well as a few new local products, like The Naked Baker Cookie Dough and Tabal Fair Trade Chocolate. Also, be sure to join us for the Ice Cream Social this month, to support The Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha (HAWS) and if you love the ice cream we’re serving, you’ll be happy to find out that Alden’s organic ice cream is also on sale for the entire month of July.
