Café & Deli:  This month in the cafe, join us as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo. It is celebrated in the United States and in parts of Mexico every 5th of May, primarily in the state of Puebla, where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla (The Day of the Battle of Puebla). In the state of Puebla, the date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.  Join us on Monday May 5th for a Mexican fiesta on the hot bar and all week for handmade tamales from our Chef's  Case.  Later on in the Month, help us roll out summer as we celebrate National Beef Brisket Day. Join us on May 28th - we'll be serving grass fed brisket on  the lunch hot bar and our legendary in-house smoked beef brisket from our Chef's Case.

- Kelly, Cafe & Deli Manager

Meat & Seafood: Stop by the meat department  throughout the month of May for all your protein needs.  The wild-caught salmon season has started and that means more exciting variety in our fresh seafood case! Also, May 9th is national SHRIMP DAY, so stop and bring some home for your stir fry, tempura, or skewers for the grill.  Don't forget about Mother's Day! Surprise your amazing mom with a delicious surf and turf meal featuring our grass-fed beef steaks and sustainably caught seafood. End the month with some grass fed beef brisket and natural pork baby back ribs for the smoker and watch your neighbors invite themselves over!

 - Brian, Meat Manager
